The District is governed by a five member Board of Directors. The current board members are listed below. All of the board members own homes in the Grant Ranch. The Board of Directors meets in the Raccoon Creek Golf Course restaurant located at 7301 W. Bowles Avenue, Littleton, CO 80123.

Eric Edwards, Chairman

Eric and Linda Edwards moved to Grant Ranch in 2005 and very much enjoy the Colorado front range lifestyle.  Eric has degrees in Geology, Chemistry and Business Administration and has spent 40 years in metals mining, including exploration, permitting, development, community engagement, finance and operations.  Eric has served as President, Chief Financial Officer and board member for a number of publicly listed mining and exploration companies in the US and Canada.  Eric and Linda both enjoy outdoor activities, travel, culture, family, friends and new adventures.

Monte, Cassie and their 3 children have been residents on Grant Ranch since 2012.  Monte works for an engineering company as a Professional Land Surveyor and is licensed in 6 states.  He is very involved in his children’s activities being a baseball and softball coach.  The family enjoys travelling around the country and are actively involved in the special needs community.

John Spence

John and his wife Lynne have lived in the District since 2000.  In addition to serving on the Grant Water & Sanitation Board, John serves as Colorado State Director on the Task force on National and Homeland Security.  The task force focuses on protecting the electric grid and other critical infrastructures such as water and wastewater systems.  John worked with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) for 38 years in information systems, critical infrastructure protection and financial management.  John obtained his master’s degree from Colorado State University and has obtained several technical certifications over the years.  He currently manages his own marketing firm, enjoys golfing and skiing and is a lifetime member of the National Ski Patrol.  He is a past President of the Chatfield Toastmasters and VP of the Trustees West Bowles Community Church.

John Swanson

John and JoAnn moved to Grant Ranch in 2015 from Evergreen Colorado.  John retired from Lockheed Martin after 45 years and the United States Army Reserve after 31 years.  John has an Engineering Electronic Technology Degree and BA in the Management of Human Resources.  John completed the Command and General Staff College and retired a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army after Commanding the 11th Battalion Combined Armed and Services Staff Leader School.  John and JoAnn enjoy golfing, traveling, and the Colorado outdoors.

 

 

 

 

 

Melodie Farris

Board Member since 2023

Melodie and Kelly Farris have lived in Grant Ranch since 2010. Melodie is an attorney and CPA and works for the federal government as an Appeals Officer.  Melodie enjoys watching Kansas basketball and traveling overseas with her husband, Kelly.
